Carlos J. Meléndez

Carlos J. Meléndez is the founding partner at the law firm Meléndez & Klinkbei Law Offices, P.A., specializing in Criminal Defense, Bankruptcy, and Personal Injury law. Mr. Meléndez has worked thousands of cases and is experienced in virtually every criminal charge. He is also seasoned to litigate car accident and slip and fall lawsuits. Due to his experience as an Assistant State Attorney/Prosecutor, Mr. Meléndez can confidently maneuver through the legal system and obtain positive results for his clients. Mr. Meléndez was born in Puerto Rico and then raised in Central Florida. He graduated from Lyman High School and later completed his bachelor degree in Political Science at the University of Central Florida. He received his Juris Doctor at the downtown Orlando campus of Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU), College of Law after completing comparative international business and constitutional law classes in Spain. After graduating, he became an Assistant State Attorney/Prosecutor in the 9th District, which covers Orange County and Osceola County. He later worked as an associate attorney at the Law Office of Octavio Andrade, P.A. where he soon became a partner of Andrade Meléndez, PA.
